Exciting projects

So after a fun weekend with Grumpy Guardsman, his Wife and his Brother. The wife and I are going to be working on a podcast, with those good people. Really excited to see how this turns out. Also on the modeling front, I have started building my Imperial Knight. I will be doing a report on that after I consult the Master of the Forge(READ-wife). I would like to also add a huge thank you to my friend Grumpy for inspiring me to get off my butt and get back on my Blog, and my Wife for helping me get my blog ship shape and in order. Couldn't ask for a better Commisar and Techmarine!
Also, I have some math hammer fun that I will be covering later in the week.

Torquer

  1. Good to see you back. I really like your friends IG blog and would love to see you doing something similiar for marines (which is my army). Keep up the good work :)

  2. Yeah Grumpy has some serious 40k skills. He is my go to guy when I need a sounding board. I am glad to have you aboard. I will be posting at least once a week, but am aiming for daily activity. Let me know if you have anything you want me to look at. And, with Grumpy in tow, I will do my best to get you what you need!

  3. I quite like where this blogs is going. I'll add you to me blog flank :P

On a related note though, what colours are you planning fro this guy? Personally I like the extravagant bright knightly colours but thats just me. this is the first look at the base of the model too, really weird to see for the first time.

    Keep it up dude :)

  4. Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate the support!

The Wife and I agreed to do a parchment white/dark teal color scheme. Waiting on the codex for a more comprehensive guide to the paint scheme. Also working on trim colors. we are thinking bronze or copper.
Any input? We will be painting him this weekend and are open to suggestion. Let me know.

    1. yea thats a great colour scheme (I use it for my wraith models) and it looks great with a light or glowing blue and white. The parchment colour is a good choice because it suits cold colours a lot, bright or dark.

Lots of freedom with that choice.

So my suggestion is keep to cold colours with a parchment scheme.
